Every Spring to Fall we hire a team of passionate farmers, botanists and horticulturalists to gain experience on our farm and acquire permaculture experience.

Agricultural worker
Hourly rate: $16.50

The main tasks will be:
All work in organic farming will be supervised by Robert Poirier.
The mentors will be Frédéric Poirier (Biological Production professor at Collège Alfred). Robert Poirier (retired engineer)irrigation, compost tea, soil preparation with plastic mulch
We follow WSIB agricultural safety rules, all safety equipment (PPE) is provided. Before each type of work, there is a team review to identify the dangers associated with the tasks so that they can be carried out safely. Meeting and reviewed every morning.
For agriculture students, they will gain experience in all aspects of growing organic fruits and vegetables as well as the prerequisites for food safety.
The farm has an area of 58 acres of which 16 are under cultivation. We use organic and
permaculture methods for the production of fruits and vegetables. The farm is open for U-pick.

In addition, we have two greenhouses and an area of one and a half acre which is used for the cultivation of vegetables by ‘’Fermes des Paniers Copieux’’ (Diégo Occhicone et Rami Sader).
